The Gospel of Life Committee sponsors a "Baby Shower For Jesus" once a year - it usually corresponds with the annual national March For Life on Washington, D.C. in January. The "baby shower" is a marvelous way to include the younger children of the parish in a prolife activity. The gifts that the children bring to the parish are new baby items to include diapers, baby formula, baby clothes, toys etc. Gift cards from neighborhood food stores are a welcome addition. All of the proceeds are donated to the Pregnancy Center North on York Road. Cake is served to the children after the last Mass of the Sunday designated. We are blessed to have such a generous response to this event every year!
